NATIONAL ACADEMY CHAMPIONSHIP HORSE SHOW?

In early November, we hit the road and traveled to the National Academy Championship Horse Show (NACHS) to provide programming and learn more about this special horse event.??

The National Academy Championship Horse Show is the only 4-day, three-judge-panel academy show in the nation. Over the past 23 years, this show has raised $790,900 dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which includes a donation of $101,000 this year.??

The ASHBA team provided each competitor with an ASHBA swag bag that contained hats sponsored by Elisaebth Goth LLC, St. Jude tote bags, pom-poms and fidget spinners, as well as information on ASHBA programs and the American Saddlebred. During the event, the ASHBA team was onsite to assist Joyce Webster and the NACHS team with event operations and to learn more about the show.??

After all, this show is cultivating the future of our industry.”?  Friday night was electric at the National Academy Championship Horse Show. This event was made possible by the generosity of the ASHBA Board of Directors, Elisabeth Goth LLC, Saddle Horse Report, the United States Equestrian Federation, and Independent Equine Agents.?

UPHA AMERICAN ROYAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP HORSE SHOW?

After a week in Murfreesboro, Tenn., our staff headed to the UPHA American Royal National Championship Horse Show where we helped #SharetheSaddlebred with more than 260 Girl Scouts and high school students through programming provided UPHA and the American Royal. The ASBHA team helped teach each group about proper horse care, horse science 101, and what to look for when they see an American Saddlebred in the show ring. After the classroom portion, the groups toured the barns, met some wonderful breed ambassadors and watched part of the exciting evening performance.??

We continued to connect and educate our youth through our Horsing Around with Ellen Beard program and a Junior Judging Contest. The winner of the 12 year-old and over division was Cali Arizz and the winner of the 11 year-old and under division was Cara Ballerstedt.?
