ASHBA is at Equitana USA to #SharetheSaddlebred

We are thrilled to be onsite at Equitana USA this week at the Kentucky Horse Park! ASHBA will have a booth and a roster of fantastic horses to represent our breed and its versatility. Equitana USA runs Friday, October 1 through Sunday, October 3, and is open to the public from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day.

ASHBA will have a breed promotional booth in the expo center and have a 15-minute breed demonstration each day. We are looking forward to showcasing everything from saddle seat to sport horses and educating horse lovers on how the American Saddlebred is the perfect horse for all #asbdreams!

ASHBA extends our deepest gratitude to the volunteers bringing our demonstration horses and helping us educate the thousands of equestrians expected about the American Saddlebred. Without the generosity of Dr. Owen Weaver, DVM and Autumn Hills Farm, Diane Sembler Kamins and Visser Stables, the Applegate Family and Desmar Stables, Lily Callahan, Madelyn Leahey and the UK Saddle Seat team this fantastic #SharetheSaddlebred experience would not be possible!

Our #SharetheSaddlebred demo schedule:

Friday, Oct 1: 4:00 -4:15pm

Saturday, Oct 2: 2:30 – 2:45pm

Sunday, Oct 3: 12 - 12:15pm

About Equitana:

As the mother of all horse fairs and the world's largest meeting place for equestrian sports, EQUITANA has been setting standards since 1972. The first EQUITANA took place as a small trade fair in 1972 in the Essen exhibition halls and made a big impact in the equestrian sport industry: 180 exhibitors came to the first event, with 48,000 visitors the premiere was a complete success. Over the years, the "One Man Show" of 1972 has transformed into a world trade fair with huge dimensions. Today, the fair in Essen / Germany counts about 850 exhibitors from 30 nations and more than 200,000 visitors every two years.

The newest edition of EQUITANA USA will take place in-person at the Kentucky Horse Park October 1-3, 2021 and connects the equestrian community digitally throughout the year. The U.S. model follows the successful format of EQUITANA AUSTRALIA, which has been held since 1999 as the largest equestrian fair in Australia. In 2017, EQUITANA AUCKLAND was the first event in New Zealand to join the EQUITANA family.

EQUITANA USA will be produced by Reed Exhibitions North America.  The Reed Exhibitions Germany office produces the show in Essen. Each year, Reed Exhibitions as an organization produces more than 500 events globally, in more than 40 countries, in 43 industry sections, and has more than 7 million annual visitors across these events.
