ASHBA Expands Breeders’ Awards Program
The American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association (ASHBA) is expanding its popular Breeders’ Awards Program, which recognizes the breeder of the Champion and Reserve Champion in designated classes. Breeders of designated Champions receive a commemorative silver medallion; a bronze medallion is awarded to breeders of Reserve Champions in those classes. The program will now include designated classes in the Park and Equitation divisions, along with all ASHBA Prize Program classes, that include the National Futurity, Sweepstakes and Breeders Challenge classes.
“I would like to thank Equidae Insurance for their continued support of the program and look forward to working with them on the expanded program,” says David Mount, ASHBA Executive Director.
“Once again, Equidae Insurance is proud to partner with the American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association in sponsoring this year’s Breeders’ Award Medallions,” says Stacey Halloran, Founder, owner and agent of Equidae Insurance. “This sponsorship is one of our favorites that we participate in because we know the importance of having quality breeders and how beneficial their work is to the horse industry. We are as passionate about horses as you are and want to thank all our breeders for growing our industry. Your commitment to the future of the American Saddlebred is very much appreciated. Without you, we would not be able to do what we do. Without you, there would be no us.”
