ASHBA Web Site Update
In Case You Missed It
As with any move, there always is work to do. Some members are still working to log in and update passwords. In the past, we worked with rules that are no longer best practices, much less industry standard. We have moved to greater security for you, so here are some things to help with the process:
-
If you have a space in your user name, e.g. John Doe, that will no longer work. Please call the ASHBA office to change your user name to one with no spaces.
-
If you have multiple users tied to a single email, that will not work on the new site. For example, if you and your spouse; or, you and your children; or several people in the barn share the same email, you will need to call ASHBA to assign separate emails to each user.
-
If you create another new user name and still can't get your password reset, please call ASHBA. Staff and volunteers are busy finding all the multiple user names tied to single emails and are attempting to reach out proactively for members we know are active and are in this situation.
-
Due to heightened security from your email providers (e.g. AOL, Cox, Gmail, etc.), the password reset notification may either go to spam or be blocked entirely. Unfortunately, that is out of ASHBA's control. Please first check your spam and if it is still not there, call ASHBA. We are here to help!
As always, ASHBA staff will be available to assist members Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET, at (859) 259-3881 for website assistance. Thank you so much for your understanding as we transition to the new site.
