The Best Way to Get is to Give. Help Us Win a Grant from the EQUUS Foundation!

Turn your passion into action and help the American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association receive up to $1,500 in grant money from the EQUUS Foundation! All it takes is 24 hours of your time to make a difference!

The EQUUS Foundation Equine Service Champions Program sponsored by Ariat International is an incentive-based equine service program to stimulate and reward volunteerism on behalf of horses.

We are an approved member in the EQUUS Foundations Equine Welfare Network and now all we need is our members to register and log their hours helping with any relevant Association activity to help us be considered for their grant program. The more volunteers with 24 hours of logged hours the better chance we have of being in the Top 3 and eligible to receive a grant!

The ASHBA isn’t the only one who can win, each volunteer that reaches EQUUS Champion status as a volunteer is also eligible to win great gifts too! Ariat International donates gift certificates each quarter to individuals who achieve Champion status. Each quarter, a drawing will be conducted where five (5) Champions will each receive a $270 Gift Certificate for Ariat Boots. The earlier you achieve Champion status, the more chances you have to win.

Champion status volunteers are also eligible for scholarship funds. EQUUS Foundation’s $1,000 Champion of Equine Service Academic Scholarship will be awarded in 2022 based on the volunteer service performed by Champions in the 2021 calendar year to assist Champions in the pursuit of their undergraduate and graduate studies; the number of scholarships to be awarded annually is subject to funds available.

What we need you to do today is:

Register with the EQUUS Foundation Champions Program Reach out to your local Charter Club, ASHBA Star Show, or Youth Club and see how you can start your volunteer hours Give a minimum of 24 hours of your time from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2021 to those approved activities Log your hours on the Equus Foundation website!
