National Futurities See Significant Increase in Participation

ASHBA

The American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association (ASHBA) has seen a significant increase in participation in our National Futurity program. This program is for young horses (weanlings, yearlings, two-year-olds, and three-year-olds), and helps to encourage the breeding and showing of American Saddlebreds.

This year, ASHBA has seen a significant increase in participation in the ASHBA Futurities as evidenced in the below statistics. This is a direct result of the innovative changes to the Registry Futurity Prize Programs that began to start taking effect in 2021. These changes were made in an attempt to make the Registry Futurity Programs bigger, better and more inclusive.
