Notice of 2024 Annual Membership Meeting of American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association

The 2024 Annual Membership Meeting of the American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association, Inc., a Kentucky nonprofit corporation (ASHBA), has been scheduled by the Board of Directors for Friday, February 16, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST) during the ASHBA Annual Convention and Youth Conference in the Kentucky Ballroom, Louisville Marriott Downtown (280 W Jefferson St., Louisville, KY 40202). Attendance at the Annual Meeting by voting members is free of charge. The meeting will be conducted via Zoom webinar for members who cannot attend in person.

The following matters will be voted upon by eligible current members of ASHBA at the 2024 Annual Meeting:

  • The election of two (2) members of the Nominating Committee for the Board of Directors of ASHBA; and
  • Such other matters as may properly come before the members at the 2024 Annual Meeting.

The Board of Directors of ASHBA solicits your nominations for the ASHBA Nominating Committee for the Board of Directors. Nominations can be sent by email to d.mount@asha.net or by mail to 4083 Wing Commander Way, Suite 50, Lexington, KY 40511.  Nominations must be submitted not later than 5 p.m. EST on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.  Individuals who are not in good standing by Wednesday, February 14, 2024 will not be able to participate in the meeting or vote. Voting will take place for members who attend in person.
