UPHA 14 Symphony of Horses Livestream Available

       

Officials of UPHA Chapter 14’s Symphony of Horses have announced a Livestream option for those who can’t be there in person to enjoy the world-class lineup of equine stars performing in a theatrical setting with the 35-piece Best of Boston Orchestra and Broadway and Disney guest star, Josh Strickland.

World and national champions from five different breeds will be featured throughout the program with a great lineup of American Saddlebreds. Headlining the group will be the current World’s Champion Five-Gaited Stallion Epoque Kiss NKF, a son of Callaway’s Northern Kiss and world’s champion VHF Belle Epoque. Owner/trainer Burt Honaker will present the crowd-pleasing stallion for Northern Kiss Farm.

Also on the card will be the 2021 Reserve World’s Champion of Champions Junior Fine Harness titleholder, Dheir To Tango. An athletic Tango’s Parting Kiss daughter, she will be driven by Phil Fountain for Robin Rednor Veghte’s Mendonhall Inc. The world’s champion firepower continues as multi-world’s champion CH Graceful Surprise (Harlem’s Friendly Conversation x With Grace) will be reunited with David Cater who will be riding for Debra St. Laurent.

Reserve world’s champion Dreamacres Inferno with Ellie Riva and many times champion He’s A Free Spirit with Alex Dionne will share the ring racking and trotting while representing the Luman Wadhams Stables. The American Saddlebred is enjoyed by the young and the forever young at heart. Exemplifying this, Ava Perry will be riding her equitation partner Ed’s Perfect Treat (I’m A New Yorker x CH Undulata’s Perfect Gift ERB), while Nancy Reed will be on the lines of her fine harness champion Undulata’s Legends Of The Fall, a Simbara’s Living Legend son. These young ladies will be representing Verrill Stables and High Tail Acres, respectively.

The Garone family will share the ring for this event as Gary will be driving Carolyn Virtue’s expressive bay mare, Heirial Heir (Heir Emerald x Stella Bella); Devon is aboard Rick Daigle’s gifted Undulata’s Nutcracker son, Full Coverage, and Kyle Gagnon will be riding Daigle’s world’s champion Undulata’s Secret Rendezvous for a most impressive presentation of American Saddlebreds by the Fairfield South family.

The family theme continues as the Wentz Stables clan is bringing an array of stars to the program. Tara Wentz-Goosley will be driving Glenn Moyer’s reserve world’s champion Absolutely Amazing, a son of Undulata’s Nutcracker and CH Absolutely Exquisite. Patrick McMurtrie will be riding his 2021 Lexington Junior League Junior Exhibitor Three-Gaited Show Pleasure 14-17 Reserve Grand Champion Our Belleman (Nutcracker’s Nirvana x CH Our Brilliant Belle) and rounding out the group, Tiana Tapper will be aboard former World’s Champion of Champions Western Pleasure titleholder, CH Winsdown Edgecliff (Winsdown Hi Octane x Holiday Dazzle) for Jim Horton and the late Lynn Finelli.

Having found a new home in Maine, CH Futurette is another of the world’s titled performers on the evening’s program. A world’s champion of champions in harness and under saddle, this daughter of Wine Women And Song will be presented under saddle by Natalie Martens for George Liberty’s Juniper Farms.

A special treat this year will be the Stick Horse performance, which is sponsored by the American Saddlebred Horse Breeders Association. These youngsters are in for the time of their lives.

Stars from the other breeds are just as impressive and you can have a front row seat to all of it via the Livestream. The performance is Friday, April 22 at 7:30 EST. Longtime American Saddlebred owner/exhibitor and promoter extraordinaire Carson Kressley will be providing the color commentary for the Livestream.
