By Design

These horses have been honored with a donation to the American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association towards the technology upgrade, which will enhance the ASHBA website and help support the advancement of our breed.

Simply put, “Blessed with the Best”.   She is RWC By Design and oh so fine!  Known as Lexie, she is the little Merchant Prince mare with the Great Big Heart.  As a show horse, her attitude was get the “Heck” out of my way, I’m coming through.  After retiring in 2007, and deciding to trail ride her one day to the back side of our farm, as we went up and down the back hills of pasture, Lex kept reminding me, I’m a Show Horse, Not a Trail Horse.   Being blessed with two sons, Just As I Am (Justice) and My Design (Pistol); Lexie now lives her show season through her sons.  She is especially excited about “My Design” as he appears to be just like his Mom—By Design!

Show ring photos are fine, but we would prefer personal photos along with a short story of 100 words or less about a favorite memory of your horse. Please email Kimberly Skipton to submit your photos and stories.
