Become a USEF Licensed Official

ASHBA collaborates with USEF to provide Licensed Officials Clinics to help USEF Licensed Officials and those seeking to become USEF Licensed Officials complete the USEF Licensed Officials education requirement. USEF handles licensing of all equestrian officials, and you may find more information about the licensing requirements and process by clicking here.

For learner judging, please scroll down on the bottom of the "Become Licensed" page and find the Forms and Publications section which will have the "Apprenticing Guidelines" document and the "Hackney/Roadster/Saddlebred, and Saddle Seat Equitation Judge Apprentice Evaluation Form". Please reach out to [email protected] with learner judging questions.

Applicant and promotion registrations will not be accepted unless license applications have been submitted through USEF and all eligibility requirements have been confirmed. See the Become Licensed page for complete information.
