The Legends of Friday Night program highlights riders and drivers from a variety of classes from the Friday Night schedule at the World’s Championship Horse Show. The show ring presence and versatility of the American Saddlebred will be a highlight of the evening, alongside stories about how it all came together for a victorious moment.

 

 

 

ASHBA25_Legends__SaturdayNight_Legends.pngThe Legends of Saturday Night honors the legends from the Fine Harness, Three-Gaited and the Five-Gaited World’s Grand Championship classes that are held Saturday night at the World’s Championship Horse Show. Guests are able to hear stories about the horses, trainers, riders or drivers, and their classes. Thank you to Bob Funkhouser who not only came up with the idea for the Legends of Saturday Night during his time as ASHBA President, but also emcees this event and does all of the research leading up to the event. Clips of victory passes and photos are displayed during the evening thanks to Richfield Video and Doug Shiflet Photography.

The Ladies Legends program celebrates the extraordinary horsewomen whose talent, courage, and influence helped define the Five‑Gaited division. These riders, trainers, breeders, and mentors elevated the American Saddlebred through decades of unforgettable performances, groundbreaking achievements, and unwavering dedication to the breed.

The Amateur Legends program shines a well-deserved spotlight on the riders who define dedication, sportsmanship and a passion for the American Saddlebred. This event celebrates their accomplishments in the show ring with the unforgettable partnerships between horse and rider. Celebrate an evening showcasing Amateurs who pursue excellence and truly love the American Saddlebred.

Youth Legends is one of the most anticipated moments of the ASHBA Youth Conference - an event that spotlights outstanding Junior Exhibitor riders and gives young Saddlebred enthusiasts a chance to learn directly from the champions they admire. The program blends inspiration, storytelling, and community, creating an unforgettable kickoff to the conference weekend.
