fred.pngFred was the best “professor” at William Wood University for over twenty years. Many professionals in the Saddlebred business today took their first racking step on Fred. Many riders who made the World Cup Team did so because they were lucky enough to draw Fred’s name. His pattern work was perfection. If you wanted a safe mount for a trail ride Fred was it. Fred taught many a hunt seat, dressage, and western rider to learn to ride saddle seat and love it. Fred was always in demand for lead line classes, too. He made a positive difference in the lives of literally hundreds of riders. Fred was truly a “horse for all seasons”!

Show ring photos are fine, but we would prefer personal photos along with a short story of 100 words or less about a favorite memory of your horse. Please email Kimberly Skipton to submit your photos and stories.

Make a tax deductible donation of $200 to ASHBA to honor YOUR special horse on the Wall of Honor, or print out the nomination form (pdf).
