Manhattan Love Affair

These horses have been honored with a donation to the American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association towards the technology upgrade, which will enhance the ASHBA website and help support the advancement of our breed.

Manhattan Love Affair, aka Hattie, was my introduction into the Saddlebred horse world! After riding Saddlebreds at many farms throughout California, she was love at first sight/ride.

A flat saddle and double bridle - both of which I had never seen before- and off we went racking around the barn. Sold! At 19yo, she has given me countless hours of joy in the saddle and yesterday, my 3rd foal. She is ridden lightly now, and is still the love of my life.

Show ring photos are fine, but we would prefer personal photos along with a short story of 100 words or less about a favorite memory of your horse. Please email Kimberly Skipton to submit your photos and stories.
