Miss Boomerang was the first horse that was purchased by Redwing Farm-shortly after Roy and I were married.

She was a winning show horse-a great broodmare-my trail riding companion - and the first horse that my granddaughter Hilary Wilcox rode. My favorite times with “Boom”
were trail riding on our farm-she did it with the same eagerness and joy that with which she attacked the show ring . Trainer Don Hulse said riding “Boom” was better than eating ice cream! The Avis picture is of “Boom,” my son Michael Wilcox and two year old Hilary Wilcox.

Show ring photos are fine, but we would prefer personal photos along with a short story of 100 words or less about a favorite memory of your horse. Please email Kimberly Skipton to submit your photos and stories.

Make a tax deductible donation of $200 to ASHBA to honor YOUR special horse on the Wall of Honor, or print out the nomination form (pdf).
