Our Secret Masterpiece

These horses have been honored with a donation to the American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association towards the technology upgrade, which will enhance the ASHBA website and help support the advancement of our breed.

As a three year old, Our Secret Masterpiece, barn named "April", was an obviously gifted dark bay with a beautiful head and neck and a fluid high stepping motion. She was a chosen finalist in the 1993 National Three Year Old Futurity Fine Harness division. In 1994 she was named the Reserve All American Junior Fine Harness Mare by The National Horseman Magazine. Then a series of serious health problems robbed her of glories that might have been hers.

Still after each long set back she would successfully return to competition, first as a Park Horse under saddle then in pleasure driving, until she could no longer compete.....beautiful to the end. What a sight she was. - Dr. Gene and Nancy Ress
