pumpa_300.pngPumba I cannot put into words all the lessons that I learned from you. You were picked for me by my Grandma and the Saddlebred rescue to be my project at a time when I was making major choices about where and how to spend my time in highschool, and you were my rock. You were there for me whenever I was at the barn, you challenged me, you created a routine for me, you kept Charlie going, and most importantly you were the perfect reason to spend three and four nights a week with Grandma and Grandpa. Pumba I cannot thank you enough for the life lessons and confidence you inspired in me, you taught me lots of lessons that helped me get to where I am today. I hope that you, Charlie, Boom, and Dianna are all enjoying green pastures in the sky together- you’ll always be in my heart as a very special friend, every little girl deserves to have a friend like you.

Show ring photos are fine, but we would prefer personal photos along with a short story of 100 words or less about a favorite memory of your horse. Please email Kimberly Skipton to submit your photos and stories.

Make a tax deductible donation of $200 to ASHBA to honor YOUR special horse on the Wall of Honor, or print out the nomination form (pdf).
