Reedann's Talked About

These horses have been honored with a donation to the American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association towards the technology upgrade, which will enhance the ASHBA website and help support the advancement of our breed.

reedann_300.pngMr. Perwien and I were at the July Tattersall's in 2004 and noticed the pedigree on this mare. Out of a daughter of Yorkshire Pudding and by Talk of the Town. Well now... with Bluebonnet Farm being a breeding farm this piqued our curiosity! After some heated bidding we ended up owning her and bringing her back to Texas with us. Since she was still young we thought we might as well show her. She was a wonderful show horse, placing in the ribbons all over, including Rock Creek, Lexington, Tanbark, Pin Oak and Louisville. And when either her exuberance or my enthusiasm did not get in the way the placings were a bit better. Her work ethic and ability were absolutely over the top.One of her most" Talked About "classes was at Big "D" one year when judge Dick Obenoff put some of us back on the rail for a workout. She was up for the challenge and had as much exuberance when she made her victory pass as when we started the class!! She has ended up being one of my all time favorite horses to show and why I wanted to honor her. Annie is now enjoying life in the pasture at Bluebonnet and we are hoping there are some "Little Annies" in our future.

Show ring photos are fine, but we would prefer personal photos along with a short story of 100 words or less about a favorite memory of your horse. Please email Kimberly Skipton to submit your photos and stories.

Make a tax deductible donation of $200 to ASHBA to honor YOUR special horse on the Wall of Honor, or print out the nomination form (pdf).
