2020 ASHA National Pleasure Equitation Finals Spotlight
The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) congratulates our 2020 ASHA National Pleasure Equitation Finals Champion Karlyn Connolly riding Undulata’s Power Broker ERB. Connolly bested a strong field of 17 pleasure equitation entries to take home the victory. Milestone Stables in White House, Tenn. does the training and instructing for this winning team. A top three finisher in 2019, this team worked hard to navigate a challenging year to find themselves in the winners circle this year.
Connolly is a multi-breed and discipline rider from Mount Vernon, Iowa who has just recently partnered with Undulata's Power Broker ERB. This new partnership has been a remarkable one, with only a few weeks under their belt they have taken home three national champion titles. They add the ASHA National Pleasure Equitation Finals Champion title to their Senior National Championship from the Pleasure Equitation Olympics and UPHA Pleasure Equitation Challenge Cup at All American Classic earlier this month. Undulata's Power Broker ERB is owned by Bob and Tonya Brison.
ASHA is proud of the history of what the ASHA Finals bring to the Pleasure Equitation and American Saddlebred community. ASHA awards a $1,000 scholarship to this Karlyn along with special gift donated by Becker Brothers LLC. Reserve Champion honors went to Maggie Keith aboard CH Reedann’s Heir To Glory. Keith will receive a $500 scholarship from the ASHA. Every entry received a special gift bag from the ASHA. The ASHA is proud of each entry for their dedication to the American Saddlebred and the sport of equitation preserving this year full of competition challenges to compete in the ASHA National Pleasure Equitation Final.
