2020 Distance Horse National Championship Sept. 24-28 in La Pine, Oregon Schedule Now Available
The American Saddlebred Registry is once again partnering in the Distance Horse National Championship for 2020 to recognize American Saddlebreds and Half-Saddlebreds. The 2020 Distance Horse National Championships will be held this year in La Pine, OR at the Lava Cast Forest site on September 25-27. This is the first year at the Oregon location and we are very excited for the opportunity to hold the ride on the west coast. For 2020 the ASR is adding an ASR 50 mile championship on Saturday at 7am and a 30 mile championship on Sunday at 8am. The Distance Horse National Championships is the overhead titled event hosted by the Arabian Horse Association which include Open Owl Hoot Rides along with breed National Championships. Partnered breeds are the American Saddlebred Registry (ASR), the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC), the Paso Fino Horse Association (PFHA), the Performance Shagya-Arabian Registry (PShR), the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA) and the Akhal-Teke Association of America (ATAA).
The Distance Horse National Championships have added the LD Challenge to the event which is for the same rider/horse combination entered in the all three Open Limited Distance Rides.
