What a World’s Championship Horse Show to remember! Despite concerns over the pandemic and other issues, we found a way to pull together as an industry, support not only the show but each other, while showcasing our breed on the biggest stage. The level of sportsmanship was at an all-time high. The quality of the young horse classes, along with the amazing success of the first-time riders, trainers and owners, demonstrates that our industry has a bright future.
Thank you to all of the exhibitors, trainers and owners who supported the show. And thank you again to Scarlett Mattson, David Beck, Hoppy Bennett, Tandy Patrick, David Williams and their teams at the World’s Championship Horse Show, Kentucky Venues and the Kentucky State Fair Board for a job well done under extraordinarily difficult circumstances. This show gave us something positive to build on and I am excited about the future of the breed -- and all of the possibilities for 2021!
David Mount, ASHA Executive Director
