2021 ASHBA Horse Show Grant Recipients Announced

The American Saddlebred Horse & Breeders Association (ASHBA) is proud to announce our 2021 Horse Show Grant Recipients. The ASHBA Horse Show Grant Program is made possible through the support of Tracy & Carlos Garcia and Betsy & Newton Thomas. Their generosity has been integral in the expansion of this year’s grant fund distribution to award 11 grants ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 in seven different ASHBA Regions.

 “ASHBA is committed to helping support and grow shows at all levels. This year we were able to offer much needed assistance to shows from coast to coast that are helping support the American Saddlebred community. We are incredibly grateful to the support of Tracy and Carlos Garcia and Betsy and Newton Thomas for partnering with us to be able to expand the ability of this program to help our horse shows,” said ASHBA Executive Director David Mount.

The ASHA Horse Show Grant program offers grants to assist financially struggling horse shows. Grants in the amounts ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 are available to shows on an annual basis. Our horse show grant program is funded through the Horse Show Application fee of $50 and the support of the Garcia and Thomas families. Grants for the 2021 competition season closed on April 30, 2021 and all ASHBA Star Shows were welcome to apply.
