2022 Select Series Regional Championships

Competition season is heating up across the country and our Select Series Regional Championships are just around the corner. The ASHBA Select Series, presented by Stateline Tack, is a competition series and championship for horses and ponies that are not competing at the National or World’s Championship level. Regional Championships will be held across the country this fall for horses in the following divisions:

    Amateur/Junior Exhibitor Five-Gaited Amateur/Junior Exhibitor Three-Gaited Amateur/Junior Exhibitor Park Adult/Junior Exhibitor Five-Gaited Show Pleasure Adult/Junior Exhibitor Three-Gaited Show Pleasure Adult/Junior Exhibitor Country Pleasure Adult/Junior Exhibitor Show Pleasure Driving Adult/Junior Exhibitor Country Pleasure Driving ASB Western Country Pleasure ASB Hunter Country Pleasure Hackney Pleasure Driving Open Roadster Pony to Bike Open Road Horse to Bike

The mission of the ASHBA National Select Series is to strengthen the show horse market by providing classes where horses and ponies of a relative level and members with similar goals can compete against one another. For 2022, ASHBA has worked with industry stakeholders to tailor the program for our members and build value for those competing in this exciting program.

“We are excited about the continued growth of the National Select Series program and our partnerships with the American Hackney Horse Society and American Road Horse and Pony Association. The 2022 Regional Championship season is sure to be an exciting one!" said Executive Director, David Mount.

The 2021 ASHA National Select Series presented by State Line Tack saw horses all across the country have a special moment in the spotlight and we look forward to seeing that number grow in 2022! Each of these classes offers wonderful custom trophy halters from State Line Tack and top-quality unique ribbons provided by Fair Publishing.

2022 Regional Championships Locations:

Region 1/2: California Futurity Horse Show, Las Vegas, NV- Oct 27- Oct 29

Region 3: St. Louis National Charity Horse Show, Lake St. Louis, MO, Sep 28 - Oct 01

Region 4: TASHA Holiday Horse Show, Bryan, TX, December 2-4

Region 7: Kentucky Fall Classic Horse Show, Lexington, KY- Oct 05 - Oct 08

Region 8: Ocala International Horse Show, Ocala, FL- Oct 25 - Oct 29

Region 11/12: Twin States Octoberfest Horse Show, W. Springfield, MA- Oct 26 - Oct 30

No standalone/titled ASHBA National Select Series class counts towards World’s Championship Horse Show qualifying or National Finals qualifying and no horse showing at those competitions will be eligible to participate in the 2022 regional championship classes.
