Actor Leslie Jordan Visits with ASHA!

Emmy award-winning Leslie Jordan honored us with a visit and shared his Saddlebred Story! The man who captured the world’s heart with his daily Instagram videos during the pandemic has been captivated by the American Saddlebred most of his life. "They [Saddlebreds] just shine, there is just something about them. As he shares in this video growing up in Chattanooga, TN one day he wanted to take his Shetland pony to a horse show. During that visit to the Pilot Horse Show he saw his first American Saddlebred and his love for the breed was sealed!  

Leslie’s love for the breed has brought his posts about the American Saddlebred and Saddle Seat riding millions of views on his Instagram and Facebook. We are grateful for his time, graciousness, and all his help to #sharethesaddlebred!

Leslie known for his roles on Will & Grace, Boston Legal, American Horror Story, and many more love of horses led him to work for Old Mill Farm in Catersville, GA as a teenager. He cared for Thoroughbred race horses under the eye of renowned trainer Huratio Luro. Old Mill Farm also got him closer to the American Saddlebred working for the family of Cary Latimer Robinson longtime Saddlebred lover, exhibitor and breeder who had many champion American Saddlebreds under her Carowill Farm banner.
