American Saddlebred World Loses John Michael Biggins

John Michael Biggins, 65, of Simpsonville died Friday, May 4, 2018 at his home. 

He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky.  John was a National and World's Champion American Saddlebred Trainer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Mary Biggins.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Renee’ Capelle Biggins, Simpsonville; daughter, Ashley Biggins, Louisville; sister, Kathleen Jones (Mike), Bedford, Texas.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1000 N. Beckley Station Rd., Louisville, KY  40245 with Father Jeff Shooner celebrating.  Burial was held in Simpsonville Cemetery.  Visitation was at 5-8 P.M. Wednesday, May 9th at the Shannon Funeral Home.
