American Saddlebreds Engage and Entertain Thousands at the Oregon State Fair
MV Creative Keepsake (109141G), or “Keeper” as he is affectionately known was the star of the show and started a lot of #ASBDreams during the 2018 Oregon State Fair that took place Friday, August 24th through Monday, September 3rd in Salem, Oregon. Keeper was an ambassador of the breed and greeted approximately 1000 visitors during the four-day event. Keeper also was the flag bearer for the opening ceremonies of the horse show that included American Saddlebred entries.
He carried the State of Oregon flag while his stablemate, Summer Of Forty-Two (114960G) carried the American flag. Keeper was presented by a newcomer to the American Saddlebred, Lisa Lui. Summer Of Forty-Two was presented by Daisy Pratt. The outreach event to “Share the Saddlebred” was organized by members of the ASHA Charter Northwest Saddlebred Association. Kardia and Lueck Stables supported and managed this promotional outreach, distributing ASHA materials and answering questions on the American Saddlebred. Keeper loved the attention and never stopped loving on the crowd!
