ASHA Fan Membership Level Clarification

The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) Board of Directors approved the renaming/rebranding of the Senior Non-Competing and Charter Club Affiliate Non-Competing membership as a Fan Membership.

Beginning with the 2018 membership year, you can support the American Saddlebred by joining as a Fan member for $35. Benefits include online services, weekly eNews, annual meeting participation, voting privileges, eligible to serve as a board member/committee member, and discounts for rental cars, KY Horse Park, Choice Hotels. Please see membership benefits for additional details. 

In order to do business with the Registry, a competing membership will be required OR pay a $50 non-member fee for each Registry transaction. There is no upgrade option from a Fan membership to a competing membership.

The ASHA membership year begins December 1 and expires November 30. All membership levels (except Life Members) will expire each year, at midnight, on November 30.

If you own a horse(s) competing at USEF Licensed & Open Competitions, you need to have an ASHA Competing membership. If you are the rider, driver, handler &/or trainer, you must also have an ASHA Competing membership to compete at USEF Licensed & Open competitions for the KSF World’s Championship Horse Show qualification and ASHA Awards programs.
