ASHA National Select Series Virtual Saddlebred Show Session 2- Junior Exhibitor Week

Show season may be put on hold, but that doesn’t mean we have to sit on the sidelines from sharing our fantastic American Saddlebreds. 2020 is the debut year for the ASHA National Select Series presented by State Line Tack, and we are getting it started by taking it virtually! State Line Tack is letting us in on their ever-popular Seclusion Showdown. Join us this week for the ASHA National Select Series Virtual Saddlebred Show presented in partnership by State Line Tack.

Session 2 is “Junior Exhibitor Week” offering classes that allow our juvenile riders present, past and future to compete virtually! It will run from Tuesday, April 28 to Wednesday, May 6.  This week and classes are for every junior exhibitor past and present no matter the picture dates or horse’s competitive level! Rules and more details available below. This will be open to all American Saddlebreds and followers on our ASHA Facebook page. We will place entries first through fifth, and the winner from each class will receive an e-gift certificate from State Line Tack. 

There is no cost to enter, but for anyone willing to donate $10 per class, we are naming the ASHA Equine Welfare Advocacy Committee (EWAC) Fundraiser to help the American Saddlebreds in legal seizures they are currently helping or the future cases they will need to assist later this year. For every additional $10 you donate to EWAC Fundraiser, you may also nominate friends and/or make additional entries for classes.

Session 2 Rules

    Starts Wednesday, April 29, 7 pm ET and closes Wednesday, April 22, 11:59pm ET. To enter, you must comment directly on the photo posted on State Line Tack's Facebook page for that class. The image will show the class name/number. Please click on the image of the class you would like to enter and comment with your entry. All classes are open to current and former junior exhibitor entries.  Classes are limited to 1 entry per person per class. Photo entries ONLY for ALL classes (Class #17 is only permitted video entry class) Photos can be from any date Side profile photos are preferred Horse should be wearing ONLY show ring accepted tack/equipment Must be an American Saddlebred unless noted other wise in class description  Should be a horse you’ve owned, trained or exhibited It is not required to wear show clothing, clip, band, braid, etc. No extra credit will be given for these items. As with all horse shows, the judge's decision will be based on their opinion and the USEF Saddlebred Breed Rules (or other applicable standard), all judge's placings are final.
