From the Desk of Marty Schaffel: Conference Here We Come

Next week is our chance to come together at our annual meeting and conference.  This is always a great time to see friends and fellow members. This year being in Lexington provides an opportunity for a larger than usual attendance.

This is the best way for us to learn. We have so many very valuable sessions and events. In spite of our best efforts to make everyone aware of all of the great things going on, it is not easy to make sure everyone knows about the critical ways we can learn and grow.  I strongly encourage everyone to please familiarize yourselves with the schedule of events.

Last year way too many people said they wished they knew about the various sessions. And that is the challenge we have to communicate to everyone about all of these great and informative activities. So as we all come together next week, let’s continue to learn and grow as an organization.  Let’s get familiar with the various opportunities and challenges that lay ahead.

I look forward to seeing many of you there. I hope I can be a resource and sounding board for new ideas and initiatives. And let’s continue to find ways to grow our market and resolve our differences.  Safe travels and see you soon!
