Electronic Logging Device Clarification for Hauling Livestock

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: There has been much discussion regarding the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) ruling recently enacted by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). The Equine Welfare Committee of the American Saddlebred Horse Association has been following the ruling with interest, as it affects the safe and efficient transportation of our breed.

The FMCSA has recently released clarifications regarding the ELD. These should be especially of interest to those hauling for personal reasons. A summary is available in this article:
