Equine Welfare Announces Name Change and Series of Educational Videos

During a recent bylaw change, the American Saddlebred Horse Association’s board of directors voted on a recommendation of the committee to change its’ name from the Equine Welfare Committee to the Equine Welfare Advocacy Committee. The purpose of this was to reflect more accurately the committee’s efforts to educate American Saddlebred enthusiasts regarding ways in which they may be more proactive pertaining to equine health and welfare issues as part of a rescue referral program.
