Meet the Magnificent Mare Mother's Day Saddlebred Stars from our Photo Contest!

In honor of Mother’s Day, we wanted to celebrate the amazing American Saddlebred mares who make our #asbdreams possible with the Saddlebred and Half-Saddlebred foals they bring into the world! We are grateful to everyone that submitted a photo for consideration, and the wonderful Saddlebred mares they celebrate! We are happy to share the top 3 Saddlebred Magnificent Mother Mare Stars they were a part of our Mother's Day celebration on social media and will receive a free foal registration!  

Magnificent Mare Mother: Glorious Memories submitted by Trish and Molly Kachel The #asbdreams this mare makes possible is..."Snickers" going from Molly's first Saddlebred show horse to a wonderful broodmare that is keeping the love for the sport alive for the rider she taught so much to in the ring! Glorious Memories is pictured with 2019 foal Out Of The Fire by Callaway's Northern Kiss. She is currently in foal to Riverdream's Black Pearl!

Magnificent Mare Mother: The Society Rambler submitted by Kelly Smith The #asbdreams made possible by the mares in this breeding program are...the accomplishments and joyful traits passed on to the offspring like Kelly's gelding, Lucky For You. It has been great discovering just how versatile and willing he is to try new things. His sweet demeanor, willing attitude and fondness for treats has really helped us become quite the team over the years. The Society Rambler is pictured with 2021 foal by Only If You're Lucky. Mare, stallion, and foal are all products of Ellen LaMont's breeding program.

Magnificent Mare Mother: Whispers Of Moonlight submitted by Jackie Wahrmund with photo by Stevie B Photos The #asbdreams made possible by this mare are hard to narrow for the True Blue Breeding Program, but they are very grateful for all the help that made this moment captured in this photo possible. Pictured is when “Molly” met her newborn foal that she did not carry. “Charlie” (a filly) was born in September 2020 to a recipient mare, and Molly was sadly put down in December 2020. Two other full siblings to Charlie have come after her, one in October 2020 and another just two weeks ago. Even though Molly is gone her legacy lives on through her beautiful offspring and it was so special she got to meet this foal.
