President and CEO of Kentucky Fair Board Welcomes Schaffel as New President of ASHA

In a letter welcoming Marty Schaffel as the new president of the ASHA Board of Directors, David Beck, President and CEO of the Kentucky State Fair Board, pledged continued support of the World Championship Horse Show and partnership with the ASHA.

“I look forward to working with you and the ASHA to continue to grow and enhance the World Championship Horse Show (“WCHS”) while at the same time continuing with the support that the ASHA provides to the WCHS, including being the custodian and record keeper of the qualifying points earned by participants at the various Saddlebred horse shows,” Beck said.

“I appreciate the warm welcome,” incoming ASHA President Marty Schaffel said. “We at ASHA know that there is much work to do to promote the breed, support owners/exhibitors and help our trainers. We are encouraged by the solid partnerships and collaborations we’re building with many various organizations.”
