To receive the 2019 Journal of the American Saddlebred in January, renew your 2019 American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) Membership by December 6, 2018

New ASHA Membership Rule in place for the 2019 Competition Year

Current competing and fan members of the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) are reminded that their 2018 membership will expire on November 30, 2018.  Membership renewal applications are in the process of being mailed to all current members (except Life) who will expire on November 30.

For those that have elected to receive a printed copy of the 2019 Journal of the American Saddlebred and wish to be included in the first Journal mailing in mid-January, your 2019 ASHA membership must be active by December 6, 2018. The Journal will be mailed on monthly basis thereafter.

Life Competing, Contributing Competing, Senior Competing, Charter Club Affiliate Competing and Junior Competing members are eligible for the many awards programs that the Association offers, including High Point, State and National Pleasure Awards, and Year-End Awards. As an adult competing member, you have the opportunity to serve as an ASHA Board Member, serve on ASHA committees, and vote for ASHA Board of Directors

All ASHA members have access to the ASHA website to view the complete American Saddlebred pedigree and show records database, search members, businesses, stables, lesson programs, KSF Qualifying rankings, High Point standings, online show calendar, and more.

Beginning with the 2019 competition year - Owners, riders, drivers, handlers and trainers of American Saddlebred horses showing at USEF licensed competitions and open horse shows recorded with ASHA, who are not current ASHA competing members, will be required to become a competing member within 30 days after receiving a notice from ASHA. After 30 days, the show records (including points for KSF/WCHS Qualifying, CH, CH-EQ, National Pleasure, and ASHA High Point) of American Saddlebred horses whose owner, rider, driver, handler &/or trainer that have not joined ASHA, will be removed from ASHA records and the website.
