Saddlebred World Loses Julian B. Thomas

We are saddened to share the recent passing of longtime American Saddlebred breeder and enthusiast Julian B. Thomas of Salvisa, Kentucky. Thomas was a respected and committed member of the American Saddlebred community and the ASHA. He was awarded the ASHA Wing Commander Medal in 2007 for his contributions to the breed.

His impact on the American Saddlebred will remain for generations through the horses he owned, bred, and raised. A few household names are Attaché, Attache’s Born Believer, CH Born Unbelievable, She’s Real Bad, CH Turn On The Heat, and the many champions his beloved stallions produced.
