Saddlebred World Loses Rufus Duff

Rufus Duff Jr., passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019.

Rufus was a longtime lover of the American Saddlebred horse and horse show community. His passion and commitment to the breed influenced our community for decades through his ownership and operation of Tamarack Farm in Gibsonia, PA. Saddlebreds were a family affair enjoyed by Rufus his wife Carolyn, daughters Tara, Suzie, and granddaughter Christina over the years. In addition to great horses Rufus had some of the industry’s top talents working with his horses such as Dave Becker, Don and Anne Judd, Dave and Sarah Patton, Nelson Green, Debbie Foley, John Conatser and John and Renee Biggins to name a few.
