Saddlebred World Loses Stephen Susman

ASHA is saddened to share that Stephen Susman, husband of American Saddlebred Museum Trustee Ellen Susman, passed away earlier this week. Stephen Susman was recovering from a bicycle accident that occurred in late April, but later contracted COVID-19 and was unable to overcome the variety of complications. A founding partner of Susman Godfrey in Houston, Texas, he was a nationally recognized and highly regarded trial lawyer. For all his accomplishments as a successful attorney, he cherished most his roles as husband, father, and loyal friend.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Ellen and their children during this very difficult time. Please click on the link below for a wonderful tribute to Stephen Susman.

Full memorial and obituary details available here.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made to UTHealth, PO Box 1321, Houston, TX 77251-1321 or giving.uth.edu/memorial to benefit UTHealth Neurosciences.
