Safety Tips from Kentucky Venues

With the recent elevation of crime in major American cities including Louisville, the question keeps arising on advice for personal safety. Shawn Hensler, Kentucky Venues Director of Public Safety and Security, says, “That’s an in-depth answer not easy to convey on a web call.  Generally speaking, most of the elevated crime in Louisville has predominantly occurred in already high crime areas.  The security of WCHS attendees is of absolute importance to us at Kentucky Venues.  To better answer this question I have provided the below web links that gives time tested personal protection advice.  The information is always relevant while at home or traveling to another city.

These are some of my favorite simple and to the point tips that I have been sharing for years.  Please feel free to share.  The information is relevant at home or while traveling.”

Shawn Hensler also, provided these links for simple tips to assure personal safety outside of the Fairgrounds: Louisville Police Personal Safety, The Way to be Streetwise, and Vehicle Safety.
