The Stallion Sweeps is Adding $35,000 to the 2018 Yearling Breeders Open Class!

LEXINGTON, KY – May 10, 2018 – The Stallion Sweeps Committee has pledged a $35,000 bonus to the 2018 Yearling Breeders Open Class at the Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show in Louisville, Kentucky. An additional $7,500 will be awarded to the winner, $6,500 to the reserve champion and $3,500 each will be added to the third through eighth place ribbon winners. And this is on top of the regular prize money!

The Stallion Sweeps prize money is in addition to the payout already awarded in the $10,000 Yearling Breeders Open Class. Based on past year’s prize money payouts, this year’s winner could earn a combined total of $9900 as well as the title Yearling Breeders Open World’s Champion! With the added Stallion Sweeps funds paying out to all ribbon winners, even eighth place could earn an impressive $4200!

This added prize money is available to ANY entry in the Yearling Breeders Open Class. The yearling does not have to be an offspring of a stallion in the Stallion Sweeps Program. There is no better incentive to lead your yearling on the green shavings than the prospect of earning big dollar prize money!
