Title Sponsor Announced for ASHA Equine Welfare Advocacy Committe Rescue Horse Class
The ASHA Equine Welfare Advocacy Committee is pleased to partner with the Ruxer Foundation as the title sponsor for the inaugural season of our Rescue Horse Class.
This class is open to American Saddlebreds of all disciplines, with or without registration papers, who have been rescued.
We look forward to showcasing these horses and their contribution to our wonderful breed.
The Ruxer Foundation has a history of supporting the breed as well as those in need. The UPHA Dewey Henderson Benevolent Fund was initially started with a grant from the Ruxer Foundation, and the Foundation has generously supported the ASHA in the past.
The ASHA Equine Welfare Advocacy committee serves to educate the public regarding the breed and is responsible for distributing the Bruce Hanson Grant on a yearly basis. Additionally, the committee works in seizure and surrender situations to assist in retaining the identify of the horses. Recipient of the 2014 USEF Equus Humanitarian Award, they are tasked with apprising the ASHA BOD with issues and concerns facing the breed.
