WCHS 2019 Weekend Gate Closers & Special Exhibitor Entrance

A message from the World’s Championship Horse Show, “Gate 1, the main gate to the Kentucky Exposition Center, will be closed on all Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays of the Kentucky State Fair to anyone staying on the West Side of Phillips Lane (where the majority of hotels are located). You will NOT be able to turn left from Phillips Lane into the fairgrounds nor will you be able to go down Phillips Lane to Preston. We recommend turning left out of the hotels and go to Crittenden Drive to use Gates 2 & 4 . Golf carts and exhibitor vehicles will be able to access the fairgrounds through a new route at the bowling alley parking lot (across from Crowne Plaza and Lot P on the below map). If you are coming from the Interstate and take the Main Entrance exit, you may still use Gate 1 but will need to stay to the FAR left lane upon entering to use your passes. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope we can all make it a great week!”
