NOTICE OF 2026 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
THE AMERICAN SADDLEBRED HORSE AND BREEDERS ASSOCIATION, INC.
Date of notification by mail, email, and website posting: on or about January 7, 2026
The 2026 Annual Membership Meeting of American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association, Inc., a Kentucky nonprofit corporation (ASHBA), has been scheduled by the Board of Directors to be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) (and continuing at any adjournments or postponements). The meeting will be held at The Campbell House, 1375 S. Broadway Street, Lexington, KY 40504 and virtually via zoom.
The following matters will be voted upon by the eligible members of ASHBA at the 2026 Annual Meeting:
1. The election of six (6) members of the Board of Directors of ASHBA for the 2026 election cycle;
2. The election of two (2) members of the Nominating Committee for the Board of Directors of ASHBA for the 2026 election cycle;

2026 Board Directors Election Candidates
2026 Nominating Committee Candidates
This notice is being emailed to all individuals who are eligible voting members (Lifetime, Contributing Competing, Senior Competing, and Charter Club Competing), as of December 31, 2025.
The deadline by which individuals shall be in good standing to be entitled to participate in the meeting December 31, 2025. [Per the bylaws: Notwithstanding the forgoing, in the event the annual meeting of Voting Members is held prior to April 1st in a calendar year, then the date by which individuals shall be in good standing to be eligible to participate in the meeting shall be December 31st of the previous year].
Voting Questions
Question 1: Board of Directors Election
The following individuals have been duly nominated by the Nominating Committee for election to the Board of Directors. Voters may select up to six (6) candidates from the list of nine (9) nominees.

- Erin Eichenbaum, Florida
- Steve Gaw, Missouri
- Diego Miron, Florida
- Melissa Moore, Kentucky
- Scott Robinson, Kentucky
- Brooke Simpson, New Hampshire
- Barbe Smith, Louisiana
Question 2: Nominating Committee Election
The following individuals have been duly nominated by the Nominating Committee for election to the Nominating Committee. Voters may select up to two (2) candidates from the list of four (4) nominees.
- Tammie Conaster, Kentucky
- Diane Sembler Kamins, Florida
- Pamela Roush, Florida
- Judith Werner, Illinois
Voting Process
Simply Voting Inc. has been hired as the independent third-party election provider. You are responsible for conducting your vote prior to the official end date and time to be officially tallied.
Voters will receive an email from [email protected] and a letter with voting instructions. Voters will be provided with their membership number and a unique pin number. Voters will be able to vote online by visiting the secure voting site or via phone using their unique identifiers.
Voting will open by electronic ballot at 11:00 AM Eastern on January 21st 2026. Voting will remain open until 8:00 PM Eastern on February 12th 2026.
Election results will be reported at the Annual Meeting of the Members on February 13, 2026.
